Panama Ecotourism

Panama is a narrow, natural land bridge connecting North and South America. Probably most famous for its canal, Panama has much more to offer travelers. Its unique geographical location harbors a wide variety of species from both continents. Panama is home to North American and South American species and more than 25% of the country is protected in national parks and reserves.

Panama boasts almost 1,000 species of birds, 220 species of mammals, and more than 350 species of reptiles and amphibians. Less visited than Costa Rica, its neighbor to the north, Panama is a nature lover’s paradise waiting to be discovered.

Reefs to Rockies offers a variety of options in Panama. Every vacation package is customized — you get to explore Panama as you like, when you like, and at your own pace. We offer the full spectrum of options, from self-drive to fully guided itineraries.
