Swimming with Humpback Whales - Tubuai Island, French Polynesia

September 25 - October 2, 2022

The small but pristine island of Tubuai is located to the south of Tahiti in the Austral Islands. Here, where very few tourists go, the islands retain their local charm and peaceful vibe. Each year, populations of humpback whales travel north to the South Pacific and the warm waters of French Polynesia to raise their newborn calves.

Given the quiet nature of the island, it has few options for accommodation so this expedition includes meals and accommodations at a small family-run property. The owner will prepare traditional and locally sourced foods each day for breakfast and dinner in a mix of French Tahitian and Asian cuisines. Lunch will be provided on the boat.

Join us for six full days swimming with these amazing giants of the sea. No SCUBA certification needed.
