In the heart of downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming, where Victorian architecture meets wide-open skies, you’ll find Blue Raven Brewery, tucked inside the storied Corson House, a Queen Anne cottage built in 1883. Though the name is new, the spirit of the place runs deep. When Danielmark’s Brewing Company announced its closure, a loyal regular and two former employees stepped up to keep the beer flowing and the community gathering.
Blue Raven is all about laid-back vibes, crisp brews, and Wyoming charm. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, it’s a welcoming spot for families and friends to gather. And with a bird-themed name like Blue Raven, it’s easy to see why this brewery fits right into Cheyenne’s rich outdoor and birding culture. While they don’t serve food, the surrounding neighborhood offers plenty of great dining options. Grab a bite nearby, then settle in for a pint on the sunny patio or inside the cozy taproom.
Three Fun Facts About the Brewery
- Blue Raven Brewery is housed in a historic Queen Anne cottage. Built in 1883 by Scottish immigrant Samuel Corson, the Corson House has lived many lives, from family home to daycare to brewery. Today, it’s a stop on Cheyenne’s historic walking tour.
- It’s dog-friendly—even the pups get pampered. With treats on hand and a large outdoor patio, Blue Raven is a favorite hangout for people and their pets alike.
- Art is part of the experience. The brewery features rotating monthly exhibits by local artists, plus permanent pieces like a metal raven sculpture by co-owner Ryan “Willy” Willson and vibrant artwork donated by a local musician known as Shaggy. The result is a taproom that feels as creative as it is welcoming.
